The emusu music ecommerce system includes the offer of an additional service to labels facilitating the sale of digital content to third party online retailers. We represent labels with a varied content and we offer complete management of the digital distribution process.


Label Management & Advice: We assist in coordinating the online process to ensure everything happens in a timely fashion in order to get releases delivered to online retailers and scheduled in time for release date. The label manager provides a day to day contact point for our represented labels. We work on a 6 week turnaround from receipt of parts to release date. This ensures a fully coordinated release and ties in with the labels promotional and marketing campaigns.

Production: In order to digitise the labels content or release we require 2 audio CDs of musical content. We then take great care in transferring our label's music into all digital formats. We ensure the highest quality digital assets using strict quality control and verification systems.

Delivery: We use a dedicated encoding and delivery system. Metadata (song information) sheets are standard and are sent to labels to fill out relevant details including Catalogue numbers, IRSC codes, Song titles, publishing credits etc. Additionally we require artwork on jpeg format. This visual representation must be to spec of 1400 x 1400 x 300dpi.

Distribution: We then supply via digital integration to our online retail partners. This includes creating all common internet file formats, for music, spoken word, images and video assets. These retail outlets include Itunes, Napster, emusic, HMV, MSN, Wippit, Ymusic, Virgin Digital, Real Rhapsody, Tune Tribe and mobile networks amongst others. We also offer specialist distribution in the dance market dealing with Track it Down, Trax2 Burn, DJ Download etc.

Accounting & Reporting: We offer combined accounting from all our retail partners, delivered electronically and designed to feed directly into all popular accounting systems. We account 90 days after month end - net revenue less a 20% distribution charge:
